Building My ePortfolio: More Than Just a Website

When I first started my ePortfolio, I thought it’d just be a place to upload class projects. But it turned into so much more, a space to reflect, organize, and really see how far I’ve come. At the beginning, it felt overwhelming. But once I picked a clean layout and started adding my work, I began noticing patterns. Projects that once felt disconnected actually shared common themes, like identity, creativity, and telling untold stories. That realization made the whole thing feel more personal.

The process pushed me creatively and technically. I had to think about design like the colors, layout, fonts and how to explain each project in a way that showed what I learned, not just what I did.

One of the coolest parts?

Seeing the shift from my early work to the later stuff. Not just in quality, but in confidence. I’m finding my voice, and this portfolio captured that in real time.

There were moments when I got stuck or overthought things, but I learned that perfection isn’t the point, progress is. I got better with tools like Wix, embedding videos, formatting blogs, and just thinking about how others might experience my site.

Now, it’s something I’m proud of. Not just for school, but for future jobs, internships, or creative projects. It’s a living space for my work and growth and I plan to keep building it.
